A Little

About Me

I grew up in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and attended the University of Oklahoma, where I received a Bachelor of Arts in Electronic Filmmaking.

After moving to Gainesville, Florida, I pursued music videography as well as performed in venues around town.

I attended the University of Florida, where I received a Masters in Forest Resources and Conservation. My thesis investigated the intersection of environmental fungal pathogens and the effects on human health through the examination of contaminated e-cigarette devices. During that time, I received the FRC Outstanding Masters Student of the Year (2022-2023) award and published the Field Guide to Wood Decay Fungi on Florida Trees.

Currently, I am following my passion for mycology and research, with the hopes of receiving a fellowship to pursue a PhD in Plant Pathology.
